Took the Time Away to Heal from discovering that I was stolen when I was 2 years old…

Took the time to heal

Lately all I want to do is sit here at my desk where I am doing all this creative stuff but there are things to be done…

After discovering that I have been lied to for 50 years I am no longer worried about how others see me. Now more than ever I am living my life the way that I want, after finding this discovery, you get to see how others treat you and that in the scheme of things you are the most important being in your life.

don’t get me wrong, your family is important too but if you do not take care of yourself, then you can not give to them wholeheartedly. 

In 2023, I found out after 50 years that I was taken from my birth family and all these times I was abused and lied to, until my sister found me and these 3 years I needed to heal from all the hurts and sufferings that had happened. 

You know what, I have to learn how to forgive those who did this so that I can move on. I do not want to live my life with bitterness. I want to live with joy, a smile on my face, to go and enjoy life and leave all these things behind. 

So moving forward, I am now focusing my time on my creativity by doing my knitting, working at my new job, creating TikTok/YouTube videos, writing these blog posts and spending time with my close friends and family who have been here for me when I was going through this difficult time in my life…

You have not failed, you just gone through many ways that did not work!

It’s a brand new week for us all to start anew with our goals and dreams, so this week I want to share this quote with you that I found and it brings me back to when I started Live Streaming!

PeriNewbies 2015

In 2015, Periscope came out and I founded the PeriNewbies Group on Facebook where we help those who wanted to Live Stream but did not know how or were shy like me. 

WoW, it was exciting and daunting at the same time but as the times went on, our group was there to give the encouragement and support that they needed. The app was shut down and our group on facebook became inactive. I used to look at this as a failure but today, I see it as a learning process because it has given me a lot, that I will take those experiences and use it in the future.

So what if we failed, why not look at it the way that this quote says, you found ways that did not work and until then just keep trying one more time.

What else can you remember that you think you failed with but now maybe look at it as a way of you finding ways that it did not work, that those things are just not it.

So this is Your Motivation Monday’s quote and it is time to look at things differently and to be more kind to yourself rather than putting yourself down because you are not where you want to be yet!

oh and be encouraged by those who have done things and did not give up, can you imagine where you are now if you just tried one more time…

New Week, New Start

So from today, this new week, start with this in mind, so what if it did not work, I will try again and again, until I get it right. 

Like today, at first I did not feel like I had something to share with you but as I carry on it got better and now I am able to write and share this with you…

be able to say that I tried one more time, until I got it done.

Never Give Up, Motivation Mondays

It’s been a while since I created a podcast here and I wanted to come back and do Motivation Mondays with you. 

Do you know that there is Greatness Within You? Yes we are great yet sometimes we feel like we are not good enough that we have nothing to offer, that others are greater than us but that is so wrong because we all have our own Power from Within!

So this Motivation Mondays is to share motivating stuff with you to help you ahead for this week, that this will be filled with awesomeness, that you move forward in life with greatness that only you can give.

Never Give Up, even when things are hard, that maybe you are being prepared for what is yet to come, that those struggles and lessons are for you to learn from, that one day you can look and say to yourself that I did all this, like what I have done with the Self Lovers UK.

Self Lovers UK, we now have the website on Wix.com, a Store, a Blog, Social Media’s account and the Podcast that I have shared for a long time now. 

Don’t get me wrong, I had moments when I thought that I can not carry on, that it is too much and all I wanted to do was to disappear and never be seen again. Last year was a challenge for me and I truly thought that I could not go on with the bombshell that I found out but hey that is part of my journey and it is one of the reasons that I want to carry on sharing my podcast with you so that you too can go on and do the things that only you can do.

New Podcast Self Lovers Episode Out Now

I was at home the other day and my daughter ask me if I have a podcast and I said yes. I have the Self Lovers Podcast for a while now.

So I went to the Spreaker Studio and recorded another podcast episode because this truly is an amazing way to share our thoughts, feelings and our lives that can reach the world.

It’s been a while but it’s like riding a bike again, there’s nothing to it but I get it that it can be daunting for others to start a podcast.

To just talk when no one is talking back to you and like videos, you are there alone but once you share it online, it’s there for others to listen to and maybe your story can reach someone out there who just need that information, topic that you just put out there.

Who knows, maybe just sharing you struggles, someone can be saved, someone can start or simply inspire them to never give up!

Wow, time does fly…

It’s been a while since I posted a new podcast and now this is available on Apple Podcasts and others too.

So chap cause sometimes we think to ourselves, what is the point of it all.

All I can say is that I have not done a lot of podcast due to my work, working for a company does take a lot of your energy and time, which is why my last podcast was last year and looking back now, maybe I should have done better.

But hay, maybes are better left out, otherwise it will just get you down.

So yup, excited for the new era in my life. Moving on and creating things that resonate within me, rather than doing what I think 🤔 others want me to do.

So start doing what you love doing and letting go of what others expect from you. This is your life and you are allow to live it your way.
